Leaving the house in the depths of a Melbourne winter always requires a little extra incentive, and we’ve got just the thing: Cheeky Rascal Cider has partnered with the Queen Victoria Winter Night Markets.
Our ciders are now part of the delicious food and vibrant atmosphere at the Queen Victoria marketplace, every Wednesday night through to August 31, 2016.
We simply cannot wait to pair our international Street Food ciders with the Winter Night Market food vendors’ delicious creations… after all, it’s what they were made for! Our Mexican cider – a zesty fiesta of apple, lime, mint and chilli – matches perfectly with tacos or quesadillas. And our Vietnamese-inspired blend of lychee, strawberry and pear cider adds a sweet note to the crisp freshness of rice paper rolls and noodle dishes.
Cheeky Rascal Cider has its roots in traditional Italian fruit winemaking techniques, but takes a distinctly rebellious approach to the old cider norms, producing bespoke flavours unlike any other. Created by the third generation of Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm, our ciders use 100% real fruit, and no artificial flavours or concentrates.
The marketplace buzz is something close to our hearts. We’re veterans of the Victorian market scene; after 30 years, our family is the longest-running stallholder at the Red Hill Markets. We love the opportunity to chat with our customers, hear their feedback, and share our story and products.
