Rebello Wines and Cheeky Rascal Cider were a developed by branching out from my parent's strawberry farm, Sunny Ridge on the Mornington Peninsula, seven years ago. Like most Italian families that came to Australia, my grandparents brought with them agricultural and winemaking techniques handed down over generations.
We decided to take these techniques and respect for the traditional rules of how wine is made, add in a little healthy disrespect for the rules of how it should taste... And the result is completely innovative wines, liqueurs and cider made with real fruit.
It's an exciting time to be in the industry in Australia, as we're at the forefront of innovative blending, catering to discerning customer tastes. Our mantra has always been to create great products using fresh local fruit with no concentrates, flavours, colours or additives and move with the consumer, continually evolving to provide Australians with a great product.
Our award-winning sparkling wines capture the essence of pure strawberries in their delicate bubbles, providing a unique, berry-filled palate that is perfect for any celebration. Strawbellini is the only Australian sparkling wine to have won double-gold at the San Francisco International Wine Competition, alongside the likes of Veuve Clicquot and Piper Sonoma.
As the first 100% real fruit cider in the country, Cheeky Rascal Ciders have revolutionised the way Australians think about cider. Our ever-expanding range of experimental varieties has lead to exciting flavour combinations like Apple and Guava, and the hugely popular Street Food Series, brewed to match you favourite international cuisine.
